Report content

SilentPeek displays public Instagram content through caching. If you are the rights holder, subject of the content, or believe something violates our Terms of Service, we'll review and act within 48 hours of a valid report.

How to submit a report

Email dmca@silentpeek.com with:

• The specific URL on silentpeek.com (e.g. silentpeek.com/view/username)
• A description of the content to be removed
• Your full legal name and contact information
• For DMCA takedowns: a signed statement under penalty of perjury that you are the rights holder or authorized representative
• For privacy removals: a brief explanation of why this content should not be cached

What happens next

1. We acknowledge receipt within 24 hours
2. We investigate within 48 hours
3. Valid requests: content removed from cache + blocklisted from future re-caching
4. Invalid requests: we reply with the reason (usually: content is public on Instagram and you need to request removal from Instagram directly)

What SilentPeek cannot do

• Remove content from Instagram itself — we only cache what Instagram serves publicly. You must contact Instagram at help.instagram.com to remove from the source.
• Disclose the identity of users who viewed your profile through SilentPeek — we do not log that information.

Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe the removal was in error, email dmca@silentpeek.com with a counter-notice per DMCA § 512(g).

Abuse of this process

Filing knowingly false reports may result in liability. We log all reports.
